Swamiji, I have heard in one of your speeches that miscarriage sometimes happens when the baby’s soul realizes that he/she is not meant to be in this family. I have had 2 miscarriages, one of which also resulted in an ectopic pregnancy and surgery. The doctors say there are no issues that has to be treated. After these incidents, i feel very depressed and would like to know what could be done spiritually to help in this case. After the 1st miscarriage we had also performed puja at mannarasala temple.

First thing to understand is, miscarriage is a way by which nature eliminates a life which should not be allowed in this world for reasons medical or otherwise. If a defective baby is born, it will be a lifetime sorrow. So don’t worry about what happened before. It was all for good. Now physically and emotionally you have to prepare to receive and carry a good baby. The mental status of the mother is the most important in deciding what kind of a Jeevan she is going to receive. Take three months to chant Santhanagopalamantram daily and strongly believe you are going to conceive and carry a divine birth now. Visit your neighborhood temple as often as possible. Keep your mind relaxed by choice. Be in the care of a good doctor as well. My blessings are with you. You will soon bear a blessed child. Hari Om.
