The deep impressions of your mind form your vasanas and the intentions behind your actions create karmasanskaras. As you know every mind (jeevathma) is part of a universal mind called the Paramatma, and the mind always want to continue its journey to where it originated from. But to reach the infinite mind or awareness we have to get rid of our vasanas and karmic burden. Every birth is an attempt of the mind to acquire a body that will enable to do this. If we use our body appropriately, with right actions, it is tool to help the mind travel in the right direction towards purification and getting rid of the vasanas. Eventually your mind will be so pure that it is not different from the Paramatma, a process we call Moksha or liberation. Hari Om.
