First of all, the question is “who is real Shiva”? Understand Siva or Mahadeva is the Athma Chaithanyam in you and me. Now, the one you are referring to is Adiyogi…. He was so divine that he was identified as Mahadeva himself. Such a person lived in the Himalayas and is believed to have intiated Yoga through the Saptharishis. In the yogic realm there is a role for small amounts of stimulants in energizing some of your nadi systems. But that is only at very high levels of Sadhana and is in no way an excuse for the common man to use it. Hari Om.
