Pranamam Swamiji, Actually Is this Atma jnanam, The ultimate knowledge, there to get out of this samsara by living a life(Final) of purpose?Or Is this knowledge there to live a life of fearlessness and peace, no matter how many lives we live?Swamiji, if the former is true, if a person having Atma jnanam in the Satya yuga dissolves quickly, then what was the purpose of creation? We say we all are blessed to have this knowledge of Self, which means we are trapped in this inescapable samsara…so if getting trapped in this samsara is bad..then what for was creation? Please clarify…this may be due to my wrong understandingWith love and respect

First of all, the notion that Samsara is bad and Atma Jnanam is good has to be corrected. They are just complimentary, just like a man and woman in marriage. That is why Prakriti is often denoted as the consort of Purusha. Together they validate each other. Without Prakriti no one would know Purusha exists, and Purusha gives existence to Prakriti. However, while living in Samsara with all limitations of being human it is good to know there is an Infinite potential in you, which you could acquire with certain Sadhanas and strive towards it. In the process, fearlessness, strength, wisdom, universality everything becomes yours and your perception of the Samsara itself changes. You can never understand these from an intellectual level. Once you move into intelligence and Vivekam the entire creation becomes a part of you. At that level, no questions of this being good or that being bad remains. It all turns out to be one blissful entity. Hari Om.
