Pranamam Swamiji,When we lit a lamp there is a section of elders who say we should not switch off the fire of the lamp,it should go off on its own.There is another section of people who say the lamp should never go off on it own.What is the right way ?Hari Om.

What you do in the presence of a lighted lamp is the most important thing. You should sit near the lighted lamp and utilize the ethereal environment for your spiritual upliftment. Afterwards, you can put off the lamp and keep it aside. Hari Om.
