As per history, Christianity originated following the death of Christ in the first century. But it does have roots in Jewish and other Abrahamic religions. The Bible has gone through several modifications from the 1st century to the 8th century, so it is difficult to pinpoint where the entire ideology belongs.  Islam is a newer religion which originated in Mecca and Medina in the 7th century.  However, these are more matters of historical significance than spiritual importance. People should study the various religions comparatively and make a choice of what they adapt in life with that knowledge. Hari Om.
