WHAT ARE STEPS OF JNANA YOGA
Posted by AMAR on April 28, 2017
Sankaracharya in Vivekachudamani explicitly describes the stages of Jnana yoga. 1. Vivekam: knowing and discrimination 2. Vyragya: non- attachment to your knowledge, meaning no pride in knowing 3. Controlling the mind and senses and concentration. 4. An intense desire to use the knowledge for improvement of the self and others 5. Being a good listener and continuous learning 6. Rememberance and practice of what you learned. 7. Making the knowledge an experience and settling in its satvic bhava. Hari Om.
