Namaste ?? Swamiji I need an advice from you. I have heard your prabhashanas since it started to telecast in tv. I currently live in Melbourne,Australia. I have 4 and half year old at home who is constantly asking me about Birth, death, growing and God. I been telling her stories of Krishna and she always wonder how Krishna is able to kill monsters and do magic. I told her because he is God. Now she wants to know what God is. I don’t want her to learn that God is something different who lives in temples.how easy is it to explain to a 4 year old about God. Can you help me please.

Your daughter is definitely intelligent than an average four year old. So it is important that she understands things clearly. However, at her age it will be difficult to grasp the subtlety of the concept God. Let her now understand God as Krishna or Shiva through the stories you tell her. Let God be the powerful person who destroys evil and helps the goodness prevail. Let God be the one who maintains the Universe. Let God be the one who showers all blessings, gives her strength and she can rely on like a friend. Eventually as she grows up she can be told that God with all these virtues, is right within her and the core of her existence. Hari Om.
