Hari Om Swamiji. I need your help. I am a 15 year old girl. I am now studying in 10th std. So I want to concentrate more on my studies. But my malayalam teacher is regularly disturbing me infront of my friends. Because, I am a participant of your children’s camp& I regularly attend Swamiji’s sapthahams. He said that I am wasting my time by attending these useless camps. I protested against that. But I have some limitations in talking to him because he is my teacher. I want a proper reply for him. One purpose of participating in camps and Sapthahams is to learn how to handle situations that are not easy. Part of that is, being able to “not be upset” at outside challenges. Your teacher is advising out of his concern for you. He wants you to focus on your studies and get good marks. It is important that we learn to prioritize our life too. Like you said, this year you have to study well. You learned a lot of good things at the camp that you don’t learn from school. Those lessons will make you a complete and great individual. Don’t take the advice or scolding of your teacher in the wrong way. Be thankful for his concern in your studies and future. You can attend the camp after 10th grade also. In the meantime, do well in school and keep your mind calm. My blessings are with you. Hari Om.
