Dear Swamiji, I am a boy of 18 years.I am going through a very worst phase of my life.The reason for this is that my mother did a very bad thing to me.She did the same thing like Hamlet’s mother(Shakespeare’s novel).The only difference between Hamlet and me is that my father is still alive and he is also not very good.I am really ashamed to tell you directly what my mother did,that’s why I made a reference to Shakespeare’s famous novel ‘Hamlet’.To make things more worse I am a chronic addict.I am unable to control my mind at the threshold of my adolescence.I have tried to commit suicide a lot of times but I failed miserably.If I can’t refrain my mind from flowing into that addiction I will commit suicide for sure.So Swamiji please advice me how to control my mind and tell me how to be a celibate forever in order to defeat my addiction.

Abhinav, You did the right thing in identifying that you need help. With the help of a friend or a relative you should see a Psychologist or Counselor as soon as possible. Suicidal ideation is a feeling of self defeat. You are a smart boy, and should be able to overcome this crisis. Forget everything else for now and seek professional help. My prayers are with you.
