Respected Swamiji, Thank you so much for all the answers. Few more queries I have to ask.1. I have heard from lot of people that the Paapa done by our ancestors are affected to us and we have to undergo all the sufferings. Is that true. Even it says that If we have done any wrong doings in our previous birth for that also we are paying now.2. My second question is I have heard from bhagavatham about how women has actually got the menstrual process. So we should not chant the mantra or read the bhagavatham? I read the bhagavatham from the App and downloaded the audio.Thank you

You are responsible for your actions, and you can only correct your ways. Focus on improving yourself. There may be a karmic tie between generations, but that is much weaker than one’s own karma. Menstruation is only a part of a female body’s ability to bear a baby. If having a baby is sacred, there is nothing unholy about anything related to it. However, sine the Prana maintains a strong downward direction in the female body during that time, she is advised to stay away from temples or environments that directs the Prana upwards. However, there is no harm in chanting or reading Bhagavatham. Hari Om.
