Pranam Swamiji,In north Malabar there is one temple called Kottiyoor, the spot of the ancient Dakshayaga and Shiva cut off Daksha’s head from Thala sseri. Swamiji in Thalasseri still many Dakshas (From you we learned that – By using Shiva we have to cut our habit of unnecessary involving others dealings) are there in the names of politics and they are cutting others head instead of their own Dakshas. So how to uplift their Shivas in them?

The word Shiva means auspicious. When the Sivatwam in you goes away you become “shava” or dead body. People kill others when they lose their own Sivathwam. It can be brought back only by a collective conscious effort as in yagam. The yagam that we need now is one of learning and rising to a higher consciousness. Every individual in the society should study our scriptures, educate their families and spread the word to others. Slowly things will change for good. Hari Om.
