hari om swamiji, i am a +2 student .i have my grandfather at home who always sees serials from 6-11pm continuosly.His personality have changed a lot.he always arrogant and ready to fight with us with his words .Whenever any guests come to our house he will start saying bad of our relatives who he dont like.I and my father have tried our best to divert his mind from these,but he will misunderstand us and use pointed words or sentiments.swamiji what can i do for him,please advice

It is not uncommon that elders feel they are losing power as they grow older. So they make their presence felt at home by being more demanding, angry and frustrated. The only way to deal with that is to make him the Captain of the ship called home. Let him feel that he still rules and others listen. Ask his opinion, tell him he is the most important person in the house. Involve him in everything the family does. Spend a day for him. As he feels wanted, he will be nicer. Hari Om.
