Dear Swamiji, As u said, once prarabda karma is completed, the soul will move to paramatma where from it originated. In purana it is said that when u attain punya, u will go to swarga loka and enjoy all the facilities there and when the punya is over, again take birth in earth. It is also said that when we die with some wishes, in order to fulfil that wish, hv to take birth again. Pls clarify.

Each birth is triggered by a certain amount of Karma called Prarabdhakarma, which you have to live off in a life time. But there is also an entity called Sanchita Karma which is like your savings account. That is your net Karmic burden. If you have a surplus of punyakarmas in a life time, you add value to your karmic burden and may be a pleasant state of mind called Swarga(satwa gunodayam) for some time. Thereafter you will need to continue your journey through multiple births until your entire Sanchita Karma is exhausted, and then you merge with the Paramatma. Hari Om.
