Swamiji thanks so much for all your earlier replies,it helped me see the good in people at work and today I have a good image at work place but there are some negative people not just at work but in the outside world too who love to label you based on your past small mistakes like how you were irritable, angry and less confident as a teenager but now as a young mother you are more stable and confident but people put such labels on you sometimes based on your past or sometimes based on small mistakes of yours and they don’t really want you to go ahead .Normally it should not affect me but sometimes it does affect me,one friend actually asked me how come I changed so much and how I become more talkative and smarter because she had seen me as an irritable and withdrawn teenager as I had little depression at that time which I have totally overcome now and my faith in God and myself have become much stronger.Even in your path of self awareness and improvement sometimes you feel like you are falling back .How can I stop such people from affecting my mind and also how can I raise my son to be strong and to believe in God and himself and not let the negativities in society affect his mind.

The best way to guide your son is to be a great role model. Children learn from “what you are” not from “what you say”. If you present yourself as a bold and happy Mom untouched by the pettiness of the people around, that is what your son will understand as the way to live life. Try to see only goodness, while understanding negativity is also the nature of the world. Life will be beautiful. Hari Om.
