Swamiji, what is the real difference between jeevatma and paramatma??from your speech on the bhagavatha i came to know that god lives in our heart..this clearly gives an idea that a part of paramatma is present in our heart.Then how can we distinguish between jeevatma and paramatma.??when i approached a sister at the brahmakumari eswaravidyala,she told me that god does not live in our hearts and i got confused…if you have enough time please give me a direction on this…this confusion has been disturbing my mind for the last few weeks..

Think of an Ocean as Paramathma and a wave as Jeevathma. The conscious energy that pervades the Universe is Paramatma, and the conscious energy in each being is Jeevathma. The ocean is in the wave, but the wave does not “contain” the ocean. That is why the sister at Brahmakumari’s told you that. Hari Om.
