Dear Swamiji, My mother in law 85years was looked after by her son in law who was 65, passed away wth heart attack last week after looking after her 6 months. Now everyone understood she is not normal means some kind of old age frustration. I’m the only daughter in law next is my turn to look after her in Kerala alone in a flat. How can I take over this job with courage and kindness, according to me she is a cruel and bad person.Im double minded one side saying why to help this cruel lady , other side seeing a old lady 85 . any way I have to home nurse. We all have some duties and privileges in life. The privilege of being her son’s wife comes with the responsibility of taking care of her at old age. What she did in the past is her karma…..and she will pay for it. But what you do now is going to be your karma. So do the right thing. Get a home nurse for assistance and take good care of her until her last breath. You will be blessed by Bhagavan. There will be someone to take care of you without fail, when it is your turn. Hari Om.
