Pranamam, Swamiji thanks for your wise replies, they have helped me a lot, and the attitude of people around me towards me have also changed to being positive and supportive. I tried to see the good in every body at work and ignore the bad and that helped a lot. Their attitude towards me has changed a lot but i am just not able to trust such people who could be so rude and mean towards me a year back and now are being so good. Yes may be they didn’t really know me but i try to remain not so influenced by their behavior, whether good or bad i try to stay detached sometimes but i dont quite understand how people change so quickly maybe because they see i work well or because of God’s blessings in my life that they came to know of. I am not able to trust such people and i try to keep a good distance from them always though i interact in a friendly way. I have realized God’s blessings is the most important thing in life. Another problem that i am having is that my moods sometimes changes a lot at home and i am not able to regutlate my feelings and thoughts properly and be cheerful and positive always and sometimes i tend to over analyse things which are not in my control. How do i change that.Hari om

There is a famous prayer “Lord grant me the courage to change the things I can, and the strength to accept the things I cannot.” You are slowly changing your world for better, by a simple change in your behavior and I congratulate you for that. The world is just a like a mirror. If you smile at the mirror, it will smile back. Similarly, if you are nice to the people around, they will be too. I feel you don’t want to trust them fully….it is ok. Take your time and understand them too. Now to answer your question regarding the mood swings, happiness is not something that comes to you from outside. It is the way you choose to keep your mind. Just pretend you are ok and happy all the time, even when things are not so good. Your brain will slowly switch to that mode. Get into the habit of praying every night before sleep, surrendering all activities of the day, both good and bad, and request Bhagavan to help you be a slightly better person the next day. You will be blessed. Hari Om.
