Sabarimala is not female unfriendly. Please remember the place itself is named after Sabari. In the past long pilgrimage through the forests and mountains were difficult for females and they were asked to stay away for safety reasons. Later, it became a tradition and rigid ritual. Today with the huge crowd coming their everyday, there are other types of safety concerns for young women. There are several other Ayyappa temples to go and pray for HIS blessings. For a true devotee all temples are the same. All other issues are created unnecessarily for political benefits. Hari Om.
