Pranamam Swamiji. I am a 24 year guy working in IT field. Listening to your prabhashanam gave me a whole new understanding of what God is, it cleared many of the doubts I’ve had in the past. Swamiji, I am a single child. And thanks to my parents and grandparents, I have been spiritual all along (and with your prabhashanam it got better). But in the later part of my adolescence when I was confused in life I did not consult anyone because the answers I received from them were not at peace with me. This is where you have helped. But the thing is since childhood I have had a very small social circle. And that too isn’t very deep. The friendships that I see today are mostly based on sympathy or benefits. I have lived with myself for this long and connecting with the outer world seems like a drag, like a chain. How can I be of help to the society and my circle and at the same time make progress spiritually? How to sustain this world while making most use of this life? What should I practice daily to attain the kind of strength that people like you have ?

The ultimate spiritual understanding is when you realize your existence is really a part of the whole. As such, you are inseparable tied up with the cosmos and you will never find fulfillment without engaging in it fully. However, the problem happens when the engagement becomes an entanglement. Entanglement happens because of expectations. The best way to interact with the society is to involve and give, without worrying about the benefits or pay backs. Strength comes from giving and being useful. Read good books and improve yourself as a person everyday. Let wisdom flow from you when you speak, that others will want to listen. Hari Om.
