Hello Swamiji,What does Chiranjivi, denote as per our scriptures? Chiranjivi’s like: Mahabali, Vibhishana, Hanuman, Ashwathama, Vyasa, Kripacharya and Parashurama. Does it mean that they are still alive or does this denote their state of mind that they have attained through their karma & attitude towards life.

Chiranjivis denote highly evolved minds, the spiritual presence of which will always be felt in the World. They may personify in a different yuga in the same or a different way. Not to say they never died. Hari Om.
