Most of the images of Gods are in such a way to convey a tatwam or Divine concept. There are people who lived on earth and have expressed Divinity to near perfection like Rama and Krishna. They are also worshipped. Every person expresses Divinity to varying levels. Ganesha and Karthikeya are also worshipped as representations of divine energies – that which removes obstacles or that which protects against malicious interferences in life. Ayyappa was the prince of Pandalam who merged his mortal energy to Dharmasastha at the end of his life’s purpose. Hari Om.
