Dear swamiji.. when I was younger, around 8-14 years old, I had strong faith in Krsna , but now entering college, i feel disillusioned by the world.. maybe it is how fast the world is becoming, or phones or negative news stories around us.. I feel very empty and sad. and because my mind is more rational/problem thinking, it is hard to believe in God.. in Krsna.. and I believed and loved in Him 100% when I was small.. It’s hard now to worship Him the same, let alone believe in Him

The problem you have is “your Krishna” did not grow up with you. As a kid, you admired little Krishna, but the young Man in you cannot admire HIM anymore. Do you know the Krishna who was the biggest management consultant the world has seen, by advising Gita to Arjuna? Do you know the Krishna who saved thousands of women from the atrocities of Narakasura or the Krishna who saved Draupadi from humiliation? Do you know the Krishna who saved thousands of people by moving them to Dwaraka, away from Jarasandha? That is the Krishna you need to relate to and be inspired by. Then you will admire HIM. There is no need to believe Krishna, but you need to understand and know HIM, and shape your life from the lessons HE gave through HIS life. The aim of all Avatars is to teach us how to live our life effectively. Approach Krishna with this attitude and HE will be your life long companion. Hari Om.
