Namasthe swamiji in today’s world, where values and culture are are just terms alone, divine mother like sita and considering her as a role model as i had heard in a video where Swami Vivekananda mentioned that sita devi is the perfect example for a women to be. so please explain us What are the traits she possesed.

Sita grew up in a highly spiritual environment raised by Rajarshi Janaka. Right from her childhood she was well versed in the scriptures and Dharma. As a wife to Sri Rama, who had to go through several challenges to uphold Dharma, she steadfastly stood by him without complaints. Despite all tortures at Ravan’s place, she kept her Pathivruthyam. When she understood Ram’s predicament between her and his people, she chose to move to Valkimi ashram and raise her children in the best environment. When asked to return to Ram, after proving her purity again, she chose to return to her mother’s lap. All throughout history women have been abused or tortured when they have been emotionally dependent or weak. Sita stands as an icon of courage, wisdom and independence. Never burdening even her husband with demands, by doing the right thing at all times without being asked to, and knowing her value and worth above all gossips and small talks. These qualities will make women respectable in any society at any time. Hari Om.
