Hindu temples are not prayer halls unlike in other religions, but energy centers which are consecrated in a peculiar way. This energy level is maintained with mantra, tantra(pooja) and yantra(special geometric configurations). Over time for whatever reason, if a decrease in the ethereal sacred energy is identified, we do corrective measures to bring the divine power back. Since a Temple is the abode of the Deity or HIS home, before we do anything to it, we seek to know his presence and best ways to do it, with the help of astrology. It also helps to identify in what aspects the energy vibrations need replenishment.
