Namaskaram Swamiji, Some time I feel I know the essence of this existence. However, next moment I realize its far away and at other times it too close to me. In nutshell I realize I don’t know anything rather so many abstract ideas/understanding. Could please guide me with a systematic approach to learn the Sanathana Dharma to experience my true self in its length and breadth. I hope I tried to express myself. Thanks in advance for your kind response.

A lot of people as they study the scriptures try to intellectualize it as “understanding and applying” like any other tract of knowledge they acquire. In reality, spirituality is that knowledge, by acquiring which, you can employ all other wisdom you have, effortlessly. In other words, it is the knowledge that makes you simple, light, carefree and child like, full of wonder, joy, love and laughter. What you learn should make you see the goodness in everything and everyone, it should enable you to take life with a smile, and above all make you realize you are only a part of a whole existence. Then you have truly understood existence, such that “you become so insignificant”. You becoming insignificant is essentially dissolution of your ego. If ego does not bother you, everything is beautiful, blissful and joyful. Hari Om.
