Namaskarams Swamiji. I have always had this query in mind. When we say and believe that “Not even a blade of grass can move without His will”, we know this is the Ultimate Truth as it has been proved time and again by His Divine grace. However when everything happens by His will, whatever good or bad we do is all by His will, then where does ‘Karma’ come into picture? Is everything done by us not willed by Him? Then why should He make us do something wrong and make us bear the fruits of the wrong deeds? When God is all positive , and since everything that happens is due to His will, where does the negativity come from? Kindly clarify. Thank you!

Dear Bhuvana,
One must understand the statement “Not even a blade of grass can move without His will”, this way:
“He” refers to “Time” one of the highest manifestations of God.
It is Time (Kaalam), which brings in every single movement/experience in this Universe as per the law of Karma – you reap what you saw. Time’s only role is to ensure ripening of your karmaphalam.
So, ultimately, your Karma is the cause of your experiences in life.
God is neither positive nor negative; but beyond all adjectives created by man!
As air enters and leaves every body’s nostrils, irrespective of whether they are good or bad God is present every where.
As Sun gives light to good and bad alike, God shines every where!
As Sun rays can not enter a house with all doors and windows shut, God can not shine through a mind clouded with negativity.
Our Scriptures describe it as:
The Sun creates the clouds by vaporizing the Ocean water and the same clouds hide the Sun!
But human mind has the capacity to create all this drama and come out of it too!
So, instead of wasting our precious time in finding reasons, we have to seek the solution!
That is what, we do Sadhana for!
HariOm!
