Namaste Guruji, There are many contradictions stated in Bhagwat Gita..At one point of time Sri Krishna says one will get what one desires. At another time point he says one will get what one deserves .Then he says you get what you believe. Then he quotes just perform your duty without the attachment to the fruits of the result. My question is how does one get what one desires when it is said one gets only what one deserves..Thank you..

The whole purpose of Gita is to teach you how to live in a way that what you desire, what you deserve, what you work for, all becomes the same or at least complimentary. So there is no contradiction. Contradictions are felt now because you are not able to manage your life to make your thoughts, purpose, actions, and their realization in synchrony. Hari Om.
