Hi Swamiji, Thanks for your response to my previous email. I still remain with serious doubts on the topic and i have formulated them into these two points. 1. Our inability to perceive a plant’s pain, does not mean that plants do not express pain, nor does it mean that other plants do not perceive this pain. In fact, fresh upcoming studies in the field have strongly suggest that plants inter-communicate, signal and warn themselves. Here are some articles that outline some of the findings of researcher Josef Stuefer from the Radboud University in the Netherlands, Professor Richard Karban of the University Of California, and Susan Dudley and Amanda File of McMaster University in Canada. a. Plants Communicate to Warn Against Danger – http://www.livescience.com/animals/071008-plants-communicate.html b. Plants Communicate With Each Other to Notify of Dangerous Predators – http://www.infoniac.com/science/plants-communicate-with-each-other-to-notify-of-dangerous-predators.ht

Dear Sarang,
I have never said that plants do not express pain etc. It was scientifically proven by the great Indian Scientist J.C Bose long back.
What I said was that animals EXPRESS life more than plants do!
Only Humans can use their mind for Spiritual advancement and those people who do not use it wisely are no better than animals!
