It is important to know what you are trying to get. Athma jnanam is knowledge of your “true self”. What you really are, can be understood only by negation. Are you the body? No. Are you the Breath or life force? No. Are you the thoughts? No. Are you your intellect or wisdom? No……..If you thus go deeper and deeper into your existence, but negating all layers of who you are, you will reach a point where you cannot be seen as a separate entity. “You” become non- existent or Universal. At that point, all limitations are overcome, all boundaries are crossed, all questions end. Only the Supreme knowledge remains. This is not something that can be explained to make understand. Start meditating on your true nature and you will come to the realization. Hari Om.
