Dear Shariraj,
All the names indicate your soul. If chanted with concentration on the meaning and recitation, they would finally empower you to feel the presence of the Lord.
The above slokas emphazise the immense power of the names of God.
The purpose of the above slokas is to inspire even the most ignorant (like Ajamila) to try chanting the Lord’s name. Once he starts getting a feel of its power, he will develop a quest to experience more and more of it, through constant remembrance of God. This will ultimately lead him to Brahma Soukhyam ie; a harmonious mental state, the Eternal bliss.
This was exactly how Ajamilan was benefited. Once free from the clutches of Death by the mere utterance of his son’s name, the true realizsation dawned on him and he proceeded for doing penance.
