Unexpected death of a young man is hard for a mother to deal with. But death is the biggest truth and all of us will have to face it. Each life comes with a pre-determined karmic burden to live off in this world and when done the athma changes the body, like we change our clothes. The immortality of the mind/ soul is what we all need to understand. What was visible to you in a body till yesterday has become invisible now, but does not mean, it is absent. Let the mother go through her normal grieving process. Family members now just need to be there to show you care and support. You can read Hari Nama keerthanam in a way that she hears, someone who she respects and loves can counsel her and spent a few days with her. There is no sorrow that time will not heal. After the death rites are over, take her to the temple daily and let her sit there for some time. She is welcome to join a Sapthaham or upcoming camp at the Bhagavatham Village. Hari Om.
