Pranam swamiji. I am 20years old ,living in chennai with my parents , from a mediocre family.While I was doing my 12th grade my parents decided that I should be doing CA. Without any objections i said okay…Because i did not have any aim. I joined college wrote the foundation exam and I cleared it…They were happy. Now I shall be appearing for the second level. During this journey of going to college, and ca classes i realised that this is not what I really want to do. But i also don’t know what I really want to be in 10 years from now. I told this to my mother and she said, education is very important or else , in this world it is difficult to survive. I agree on what she says, but how can I do something which I am not really passionate about? Also I am not passionate about anything. Everybody whom I know have some talent or interest and they are pursuing as their career.God has created me with some talent , but I am not able to figure it out. I worry if it will be too late to know and that time I will be unable to help myself . I show disinterest while studying and this is upsetting my parents very badly. Swamiji i don’t want to hurt them i promise. But at the same time I want to do something which I like. Pls help. Thank you – private

Do you realize you are a brilliant child to pass the exam and get into CA course even when you were not sure about it. A lot of children wish they had the skill and power you had. You have loving parents which a lot of teenagers don’t have. Yet you are not able to find happiness or focus. When we don’t know what we want, we have to trust the people who know us closely, above all the divine will. Doing CA course is only the first step. There are a 100 options to take life from there. Shake off your anxieties and trust the divine will. Study hard and complete your basic degree…..no need to worry about 10yrs from now. You just need to take life one year at a time. So study for your upcoming exams. As you walk, you will know where to put the next step. If you never walk….. the journey won’t happen. Chant Saraswathi Namsthubhyam……..every morning. Hari Om.
