Namaste swamiji. Laziness is one of the most deadliest thing which can halt success… it can be a bane to Spiritual Sadhana. How can one easily overcome it. What can one do when Laziness prevail in him. Hari Om. Expecting tips from you Guruji .

There is an intermediate between Thamo Guna (laziness) and spiritual Sadhana(satwa). That is the path of Rajo guna or path of action. You can do anything only if there is a genuine purpose for what you do. Never get started on flimsy reasons. You are bound to drop or quit. Before you set out on a task, ask yourself….why should I be doing this? Periodically check your goals and progress. If you need to change techniques or schedules find things that are practical. The moment you realize something is not good or not making you a better person, look for alternate options than dwelling on stale old ways. Always add freshness to tasks. Try and do things that are of benefit to others and yourself outside of what you think as “spiritual practices”…… even simple jobs of service to your wife, children. Friends, community etc. At the peak of such divine action, Sadhana life will automatically become your way. It is extremely difficult to go from thamasic qualities to Satwic qualities. Hari Om.
