There is no way to change anything about yesterday. But we can learn from every past experience to make our today and tomorrow better. You are feeling bad because you understand you mistake. That is enough. If someone was hurt by you be bold to say sorry to them, if there is something you can do to correct your mistake, do it. If not, completely drop the issue and say sorry to Bhagavan sincerely. There is no need to brood over anything that happened yesterday, because you are a “new person” now, with improved wisdom of something you should not do. The greatest correction for a mistake is not repeating it. Whenever the thought of the mistake comes to your mind chant “Om Nama Shivayah” and divert your mind to something else. Soon the negativity in your mind will be replaced with positive thoughts. Hari Om.
