Respected Swamiji. l am a Xll student. Does our karma have any role in selecting future studies. eg. engeneering etc. How we choose our higher studies. lf we select any degree how do we know it is a good choice. Thank you very much Swamiji…. H

It is not your karma, but your vasanas or your deep tendencies that direct your choices and enjoyment in a choice you make. In selecting a profession it is very difficult at age 16/17 to decide what you will do best in life. But you should never go for something that you have absolutely no interest in, even if the job prospects are good. Seek the help of your teachers, parents and others who know you well to find out what your areas of strength are. If you are not sure choose a generic subject and specialize as you go. Hari Om.
