Hari Om Swamiji, The Gopikas used to continuously sing to the Lord : “Shree Krishna Govinda Hare Murare, He Naath Narayana Vasudeva” Even while doing the day-to-day activities, they repeated this always. What is the meaning of this verse? Does it mean they consider Lord Krishna as their husband? With due respects.

Dear Lalitha,
The Gopis considered Krishna as their own Self.
(Refer Gopika Geethm – Sloka 4, Chapter 31, Canto 10 in Bhagavatham).
To realize this, they took Krishna as their own guide.
They loved HIM not to indulge with HIS body, but to dissolve themselves ito HIM.
