Pranamam Swamiji,My friend’son 6years old needs special care. Started talking very recently (very less) and started to keep eye contact also very recently.Can you suggest methods to improve him?My friend says schools with good facilities are very limited here in India,we get better facilities in foreign countries.Can you help me with some suggestions .Thanking you.Pranamam.

Children with special needs need special schooling as well. He needs a full psychological evaluation to identify the real problem and assess his learning capabilities and in what areas he needs training. You did not mention your friends place. But there are several special schools in Delhi, Bangalore etc. some with residential facilities too. Train him in games that improve eye focus and grip. Practice breathing exercises and “thoppukaranam” (etham idal) with him. It will improve attention and brain development. He made need speech therapy as well. Get the guidance of a child psychologist.
