Swamiji you said prayer is blindly believing sombody will take care of your problems but while we surrender thats what we are expecting right? god will take care of us and even while you chant mantra or narayana kavacha Thats what it says right? he will take care of you because you given upon yourself and ego to him and you are taking everthing as his will.

There is a big difference between blindly asking God to fulfill your needs in prayer, and surrendering yourself to the will of the Supreme. In the latter, you put your best intentions and best actions in. But you never take ownership of the action. Instead, you see yourself as a tool to serve God’s purpose in this world. When you don’t own the actions, the credits or discredits associated with it will not bother you. However, Bhagavan has promised he will always take care of the Yogam and Kshemam of such a devotee- meaning the material and spiritual progress. A feeling of ownership or doership is the biggest hindrance in spiritual progress and purity of the mind. The sooner one can forgo it, the easier life becomes. Hari Om.
