Pranam Swamiji, As u said, we are 5000+ years in kaliyuga of about 4.2 lakhs years. At the end of Kaliyuga, picture shows Kalki comes on a horse with a sword in his hand. My question is in this 5000+ years itself, we use AK 47 rifles and latest airplanes for war, but Kalki comes on a horse with a sword means in between violent disasters hv happened and what we invented lost in transit. Another doubt is however pralayam will come and the world will end by end of kaliyuga. What is the role of Kalki at that time. Pls advs.

Please don’t think Kalki, Vishnu or Shiva are people in the forms they are depicted in the picture. They are just personifications of natural forces and energies, described in forms we can understand or identify with. At the end of each Chaturyugam (end of Kaliyugam) there will be partial pralayam as per Bhagavatham. Pralayam does not mean flood, but “praharshena layam” or return to the source. At the end of 14 Manvatharams (one kalpam) there will be total pralayam and the world will be dormant for the same period of one kalpam, before new life starts. Kalki is only a personification of the brutal and fierce forces that dominate in Kaliyuga. Hari Om.
