Every one has a bundle of karma to live off in each janma. Circumstances come about so we experience what we are bound to go through. Even when God assumes human form, HE has to experience all limitations of human life. What we need to know and learn is how they tackled the difficult situations life gave them, and assume strength to live our lives better. Whether anyone does final rites is not important. Each athma continues its journey as directed by its karma. Tharpanam is only our way of paying homage and respect to our ancestors. That does not decide future births or life. Hari Om.
