The difficulties each soul has to go through at the end of one life and to transition to the next is called “Pum Narakam”. It is the duty of the son/daughter to make the last days of a parent swargam, not narakam….atleast do everything in your capacity to make it as comfortable as possible. Prayerfully performing the final rites to transition to a new birth, without being too ritualistic is also important. Hari Om.
