Pranamam swamy my doubt is why dakshinamoorthy sankalpam situated towards south direction. Actually this deity represents njanaswaroopam. Commonly we avoid south direction in every good achaaram and pooja. So why lokaguru dhakshinamoorthy directed towards south, giving every njanam to us?

South is considered the direction of death and destruction, but death is also the ultimate reality. The greatest power is being aware of this reality and being able to face it with jnanam. Hence, Adiguru/ ultimate knowledge is directed Southwards. Hari Om.
