Dear Swamiji, At pooja time in temples and at home when naiveedyam is offerred to the deity , first we offer to pancha prana, next to bhumi, bhuvar loka, swarga loka,and bhurbavaswa swaha etc..next to only to the deity for eg: ganapathaye swaha, dhurgaye swaha, saraswathey swaha etc…We need to offer to the pancha prana of the deity and to the deity of course but why we offer to bhumi, bhuvar loka, swarga loka etc…Why we share to all even if the quantity is less, will they accept it ? Pls advs…

This points to a great aspect of Sanathanadharma. Krishna has clearly said in BG3:11, “parasparam Bhavayantha……” meaning, if we protect the natural forces they in turn will protect us. By making offering to all the cosmic forces that sustain us, we are mentally making a promise to protect and sustain those forces. They in turn, will make our survival effortless. Hari Om.
