Pranam Swamiji, As said, a soul may not take birth for several years depending on its karmic wealth. My doubt is in order to enjoy the karmic wealth, it has to take birth earlier in a reputed rich family. Like that in order to complete the karmic burden, the soul has to take birth earlier in a poor family.. When a child died at 2nd year, swamiji consoled her parents that her karmic burden is over and that is why she passed at early age. Pls clarify. Tks.

Each birth is triggered by a portion of the karmic baggage called prarabdakarma. Once a birth is taken, the prarabdakarma for that life has to be lived off. It is not about being born in a rich or poor home. It is about making the best of your circumstances to live in such a way that you acquire karma wealth, not burden. As you replace your bad karmas with good ones, you will show better Gunas, improve your vasanas, and eventually attain Moksha. Hari Om.
