Dear Swamiji, i have a friend who is a very good singer. But when he sings, he always think about the God who gave him this gift and become emotional and could not complete singing. i advised him, every body has got gift or talent from God in one way or other. Dancers, architects, athletes, doctors, engineers, accountants all got gift from God but if always think about this, they could not continue or complete their work or proceed in their life. God has given your friend a great talent. Any God given talent has value only when it serves the purpose. Tell your friend his talent has value only when it becomes a great performance. That will be his “archana” to God with his voice. Tell him to meditate on this thought daily and he will be able to sing without interruption. Hari Om.
