What is the meaning of Chin Mudra?
Posted by Janaki Surendranath on May 25, 2010
Dear Janaki,
Our personality consists of physical, mental, intellectual and ego aspects.
It is represented by your small finger, ring finger, middle finger and index finger.
All these fingers can function when the thumb gives support and strength.
Thumb represents the God within.
Similarly, all aspects of your personality functions because of teh Presence of God within.
When you join your index and thumb fingers, this mudra is called Chin Mudra.
All our strength exists because of the Grace or Presence within.
