Dear Swamiji, My friends father is a brahmin who died recently. His mother is a nair lady. His father was with them for last 30 years. But when died, fathers brothers took the body to their native place and cremated there and did all last rites but he was not involved. His father used to say before that when he dies, his son should do all last rites which he is satisfied. Now he is a doubt is there any problem if he do all poojas at his house with another priest. Will it be a repeatation. He used to follow your lectures and a great fan of yours. Pls guide him. Tks.

As your friend clearly knows the wishes of his father, he has every right to do his duties as a son. May the soul progress to Paramatma with the Son’s and family’s prayer. Hari Om.
