Namaskaram Swamiji, I regularly watch your Bhagavatha Sapthaham in youtube. In one of the video’s you compared Sri Krishna with Sri Rama and said that while Krishna lived in Vivekam and pretended Vigaram, Rama lived in Vigaram and pretended Vivekam. Isn’t this contradictory to Bhagavan’s avatar lakshyam (which is to guide our mind’s to vivekam). If so then please clarify what is the avatar lakshyam of Sri Rama?

If you look at Dasavatharam, it is essentially the evolution of the Human Consciousness to perfection. Rama represents man as a social being. Despite being a man of principle and being duty bound, Rama was very anxious about how he was viewed/judged by others. He had to suffer a lot in life because of this weakness. Krishna went one step further, while always focussing on Dharma and justice, he never forgot to smile at the adversities and challenges that life offered. He always presented himself as blissful being and maintained equipoise even in war fields. Vivekam brings balance and stability to life. Hari Om.
