As you know, our body needs good ,air, water etc. Unfortunately today our nature is very much polluted .When we conduct Ashtadravya Homam ,it purifies the air and when you inhale that air your internal organs get purified. Surprisingly it is noticed that the priest who does Ganapathy Homam never gets diseases like asthma .This makes us understand there is something in the Homa to maintain healthy body .Apart from this, the spiritual wisdom says there are eight ‘ Prakrithi ‘, ( Pancha Bhutha body,mind, intellect and ego ) and the consciousness is the fire in which all these things exist and function. So the fire of consciousness is the supreme in our life like the fire in the Homakunda.  Hari Ohm
